We welcome the magnificent Mischa Tropp (Founder of We Are Kerala, ex-Rochester Hotel) to Tucks as he takes over and pops up his pandemic pivot project: Elsie's Indian BBQ!
Originally named after Tropp’s grandmother, the Elsie’s Indian BBQ menu includes an array of Indian cult classics including Dehli- style tandoori chicken made over the wood fire, South Indian masala dosa and of course, Mischa’s famous “Chips and Curry - beer battered fries with English “curry” sauce.
Elsie’s Indian BBQ is available every Saturday and Sunday until the end of summer.

Pani Puri (balls of happiness) - crispy fried shells filled with spiced chickpeas, served with a tamarind water “imli pani"
Missal Pav (Bombay street food) - sprouted mung bean and coconut curry, Bombay mix and white Portuguese dinner roll, “pav"
Wood fired prawns - served with a Bengali coconut curry and Portuguese white dinner roll “pav"
Tandoori chicken - chicken thighs marinated in yoghurt and tandoor masala, served with raita and cabbage salad.
Masala Dosa - crispy rice and lentil crepe stuffed with curried potatoes and served with peanut chutney and cabbage salad.
No bookings, walk ins only, dogs always welcome. Unfortunately, the menu cannot be altered to cater to dietary requirements.
