We love summer and we love parties so it makes sense that we throw open the doors of Tucks for a very special 2-day summer event: A DAY ON THE HILL
From 12pm–6pm on Saturday 13th January and Sunday 14th January, everyone is welcome to drink, dine and dance in the sunshine overlooking the incredible Tucks view in Red Hill!
DRINK
A delicious selection of wines from Montalto and Tucks, along with gin cocktails from our good friends at Bass & Flinders.
DINE
It’s a summer seafood extravaganza! We’ll have everything froman oyster bar serving Flinders Oyster Company oysters, prawn rolls, BBQ crayfish tails, scallops in the half shell, buckets of whole prawns (with plenty of lemon and Maryrose sauce), hot chippies, salads and more! Not a seafood lover? No problem! We’ve got lots of lovely fresh vegetarian options, along with pit-roasted rump cap for the meat lovers!
If you’re looking for something sweet, enjoy ice cream cones and ice cream sandwiches by our friends at Luvlee. If you’re just a little bit peckish, there’s cheeses, charcuterie and smaller snacks available throughout the day.
(Please note: kitchen closes at 4pm. We are unable to cater to dietary requirements. No kids menu will be available at this event.)
DANCE
We’re super excited to have Tim Koren (Sonder DJs) (and friends!) playing party classics to get you up and dancing from start to finish each day!
With the Tucks marquee onsite, this is an all-weather event–we will drink, dine and dance come rain, hail or shine! After the past success of our Pork & Pinot festivals, A DAY ON THE HILL is sure to be the hottest place to be on 13th and 14th January so grab your tickets asap!

Adults: $40 - includes a glass of Tucks NOW wine in a limited-edition Tucks wine glass which is yours to keep!
(Please note: A Day On The Hill is an 18+ event. Limited kids tickets are available for ages 3–17 @ $15 each, includes a soft drink.)
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR ON BOTH SATURDAY & SUNDAY! (Adults: $50)
Here’s some super important info to remember:
✅ BYO picnic rug, deck chairs, dancing shoes, sunscreen, hat, friends and family. (Please note: whilst we love pups at Tucks we’re expecting the property to be busy with amplified music playing throughout the day. This may not be an appropriate environment for all dogs to have their day!)
❌ No bookings, no BYO food or drinks, no wine tastings.
SUMMER POP UP @ TUCKS
Tucks will pop open every single day from Wednesday 27th December 2023 to Sunday 7th January 2024.
From 11am – 5pm, you’re all welcome to walk right in, sit right down and enjoy a delicious lawn menu curated by our friends next door at Montalto.
